Hani Joakim has been appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer at Vontier Corporation. Joakim will be in charge of establishing the technological and digital direction needed to promote connected customer workflow solutions’ rapid growth and innovation.
In order to support Vontier customers on their digital journeys, he will lead efforts across enterprise and application domains by drawing on his experience in coordinating business objectives with cutting-edge technology, architectural frameworks, and software engineering processes.
Joakim joins Vontier with extensive expertise in a relevant domain and extensive experience leading and growing digital transformation.
He joined Vontier from 7-Eleven Inc., where he served as Chief Technology Officer and oversaw the creation and use of innovative technologies throughout the organization’s platforms for point-of-sale (POS), digital, customer-facing, fuel systems, and merchandising.
Before that, Hani worked for Sabre Corporation for more than 20 years in a variety of increasingly responsible technology leadership positions, including SVP Hospitality Solutions and SVP Platform & Technology, where he oversaw the integration of various POS applications into a single responsive omnichannel platform.
