Andy Bullock has been hired to the newly created post of Technical Director at Oxfordshire-based Transense Technologies, a creator of specialised sensor systems (non-Board).
For the energy, security, defence, and satellite industries, Andy has a track record of successfully directing the design and development of complex electronic solutions and related manufacturing processes.

By assisting them in implementing Transense SAW technology in applications like complicated off-highway and industrial machinery and electric vehicle drive units, Andy’s appointment will improve Transense’s ability to service both new and existing customers.
Victor Kalinin, the Chief Scientist and Technologies Director, prepares to retire at the end of this year. Andy’s arrival on July 1, 2022, ensured a smooth handover.

Transense is a maker of specialised wireless sensor systems that are used to collect and monitor data in real-time.
Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) sensor technology, which is patent-protected and used to increase equipment power, performance, reliability, and efficiency, as well as iTrack, Transense’s Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, which was licenced to Bridgestone Corporation, the largest tyre manufacturer in the world, under a ten-year agreement in June 2020, and a variety of intelligent tyre monitoring equipment under the Translogik brand, are among the company’s products.
Automotive, aerospace, industrial, green energy, rail, and marine are among the target industries.
