Pat McCusker has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of HiBid, the leading provider of auction technology, which links buyers, sellers, and auctioneers globally through the HiBid.com platform and the Auction Flex 360 auction management solution. HiBid’s announcement takes effect immediately.
McCusker, who has scaled high-growth software and marketplace organizations, including those in the online auction sector, comes to HiBid with 25 years of expertise. He was a co-founder of AuctionMax early in his career; the company managed online auctions and was later purchased by a Fortune 500 retailer. After that, McCusker held senior leadership positions at McKinsey & Company, the tech-enabled services company InnerWorkings, and, most recently, Fast Radius, a digital manufacturing software company that he led from its founding to its public listing and eventual sale to a private equity firm, where he most recently served as Co-Founder and President.
McCusker expressed his excitement at joining the HiBid team. Having spent several months getting to know the company, he has been impressed by the team, platform, and growth opportunities. HiBid will be expanding its workforce in the areas of software development, product management, marketing, and finance at McCusker’s new location in Chicago, Illinois. HiBid intends to keep up its offices in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Ocala, Florida.
