Jan Heck has been appointed as the CEO and President of Hestan Commercial Group, effective immediately, according to a statement released today by Hestan, the premier brand of commercial and residential kitchens. Eric Deng, who is stepping down to pursue other possibilities, is being succeeded by Heck. Heck will be accountable to Stanley Cheng, the founder and CEO of Meyer Corporation and Chairman of the Hestan Commercial Group. He will oversee Heck’s development of an international brand, emphasizing specialty distribution, boosting sales, and maximizing profitability while pursuing product innovation in the market.
With over 25 years of expertise in a very competitive global consumer goods market, Jan Heck is an executive in luxury brands on a worldwide scale. Heck worked with Miele for the most of his career; as President and CEO of Miele USA most recently, he developed the company into one of the top luxury appliance companies in North America.
Being aware of how crucial it is to collaborate and interact with the larger professional community in order to obtain essential market knowledge and exposure, Heck is currently the Chairman of both the GACC USA and the German American Chamber of Commerce New York.
