Since 2020, Ms. Cohn has held the dual roles of President and General Counsel of Apartment Income REIT Corp. Her areas of expertise include governance, information technology and process innovation, human resources, and law. Before that, Ms. Cohn worked at Apartment Investment and Management Company from 2002 to 2007, holding a number of positions, the most recent of which was Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Ms. Cohn was in charge of construction services, asset quality and service, insurance, risk management, human resources, property dispositions across the country, and Aimco’s acquisition efforts in the western area in addition to her role as General Counsel for the company. Ms. Cohn worked as an associate at Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells) from 1998 to 2002, specializing in venture capital financing, public equity offerings, and transactional work for the public and private sectors. Ms. Cohn received honors and distinction for her undergraduate degree in public policy from Stanford University, as well as cum laude for her law degree from Harvard Law School.
