With effect from March 1, 2024, CARFAX Canada is happy to announce the appointment of Shawn Vording as its new President

Vording, who has been with CARFAX Canada for 15 years, provides a wealth of knowledge and has achieved excellent accomplishments. He is currently the Vice President of Product & Sales. Since the company’s founding as CARPROOF, which changed its name to CARFAX Canada in 2018, he has performed a variety of positions and duties.

Vording will report to Edouard Tavernier, President of S&P Global Mobility, a branch of S&P Global, in his new capacity. S&P Global Mobility manages a range of cutting-edge information and technology solutions for the automobile industry under several names, including CARFAX Canada. Tavernier was excited to see Vording take on the new position and emphasized his brilliance, drive, and exceptional strategic and leadership abilities. Tavernier added, “Shawn is a proven leader with deep knowledge, experience, and connections in the automotive industry that will help CARFAX Canada as it continues to accelerate its growth.”

At the end of March 2024, Mark Rousseau, who has led CARFAX Canada for the past eight years, will step down. We’ve done so much together; Rousseau expressed his pride in CARFAX Canada’s expansion and outstanding results. He continued, He can’t think of a better person to continue the great work and grow this company further than Shawn Vording. It was an honor and a joy to be a part of this team.
