Swca appoints Scott Slessman as CGO

A worldwide environmental consulting company called SWCA Environmental Consultants has announced that Scott Slessman has been named as the organization’s first chief growth officer.

Slessman will be in charge of accomplishing SWCA’s growth goals in this newly established role by spotting strategic possibilities, fostering sales success throughout the company, and training the organization’s future client services consultants.

Joseph J. Fluder, III, CEO and president of SWCA, stated that Scott has exhibited a remarkable track record of generating significant development during his tenure at the organization. In addition to Pennsylvania, he has been instrumental in building offices and growing SWCA’s reach throughout the upper Midwest, the Great Lakes region, North Dakota, Colorado, and Wyoming. In order to ensure client happiness, adjust business development strategies, and navigate the hurdles presented by the epidemic, Scott’s leadership has been crucial. His unwavering determination, profound understanding of the industry, strategic vision, and dedication to our mission, fundamental values, and clients make him the ideal candidate to serve as our first-ever chief growth officer.

Slessman has been providing essential experience to SWCA in various positions since 2003, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the environmental consulting profession. Most recently, Slessman—who served as senior vice president of client services—was instrumental in the more than threefold increase in SWCA’s yearly sales total since 2015.

The new hire, a chief growth officer, will be joining the SWCA’s current executive team, which also includes president and chief executive officer Joseph J. Fluder, III; executive vice president and chief financial officer Dennis Henry; chief people officer Deborah Owens; chief technology officer Linda Lannen; chief operating officer Robert Kroeger; chief delivery officer Norma Crumbley; and global strategic management officer Robert Kloepfer.
