Following the Annual Shareholders Meeting on Tuesday, the Nautilus board approved Anne Saunders’ appointment to the position of board chair.
Previously serving in the position since 2011, M. Carl Johnson, III announced his retirement earlier this year.
Saunders has spent the last ten years working for the Nautilus board, serving as both a member and chair of the audit and compensation committees as well as the nominating and corporate governance committee.
Saunders is a seasoned corporate executive with a history of accelerating revenue development through innovation. In addition to her position at Nautilus, she also serves in a number of non-executive director capacities at WD-40 and Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee, Inc.
Prior to this, she had executive leadership positions at several consumer products and digital subscription businesses, including NakedWines.com, Redbox, Starbucks, and FTD, a large international floral and gifting business.
Ms. Saunders graduated from Fordham University with an MBA and holds a B.A. from Northwestern University.
Along with Patty Ross, who chairs the corporate governance committee, Ruby Sharma chairs the audit committee, Shailesh Prakash chairs the compensation committee, and Kelley Hall serves on the board of directors for Nautilus.
