The Restaurant Group is happy to announce that Loraine Woodhouse has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director. She joins the Board of the Company as of this day and will sit on the Audit and Nomination Committees.
Currently serving as the Chair of the Audit Committee and a Non-Executive Director at The British Land Company plc, Loraine formerly served as CFO of Halfords Group plc from 1 November 2018 to 16 June 2022.
She spent five years in high finance positions at the John Lewis Partnership, including as Finance Director of Waitrose, prior to joining Halfords.
Prior to that, Loraine served as the finance director of Costa Coffee Limited, the finance director of Capital Shopping Centres Limited (later Intu plc), and the chief financial officer of Hobbs.
Early on in her career, Loraine held positions in investor relations and finance at Kingfisher plc.
In the UK, The Restaurant Group plc runs about 400 restaurants and pub restaurants.
Wagamama, Frankie & Benny’s, and Brunning & Price are its main trading names.
Additionally, it has a multi-brand concessions business that mostly serves airports in the United Kingdom.
and owns a 20 percent ownership in a JV that runs five Wagamama restaurants in the US as well as more than 50 franchise restaurants that are active in various regions.
