Executive Chairman Chris Martin IV states that they are happy to announce the appointment of my cousin Robert to the Martin board. Indeed, He was Robert’s cousin. It is true that family members frequently hold positions on the boards of closely owned companies. He and Robert grew up side by side. Eventually, he left for college to get a business degree and attended art school. We had a reunion more than 15 years ago.

Since then, Robert has been focusing on art pieces including Martin Guitars and our museum. He knows that his distinct and enthusiastic viewpoint will assist him and the other board members in effectively guiding my family’s firm into the future.

Robert Goetzl is a well-known independent artist and illustrator who has contributed significantly to the field of illustration and art over the course of more than 40 years.
