Good Grit Magazine was established in 2015 by Laura Quick to close a vacuum in the Southern narrative landscape. Since then, it has grown into a potent platform honoring the tenacity and solidarity of the region. The magazine, which has its roots in Birmingham, Alabama, celebrates diversity, encourages constructive change, and embodies The Character of the South.
