Marcus Rich has been appointed as Non-Executive Chair of XLMedia (AIM: XLM), a prominent global digital performance publisher, with immediate effect. Marcus will serve on the Audit, Remuneration, and Risk Committees as well.
Marcus has a plethora of knowledge from his time as an executive and non-executive at companies in the media industry and has worked at DMGT for five years, rising to the position of Managing Director at Mail On Sunday before joining Associated Newspapers as Commercial Director.
Marcus previously spent 16 years at EMAP, where he served as Group Managing Director of EMAP Lifestyle Magazines and EMAP Advertising, as well as supervising the company’s Australian and US operations. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of TI Media for six years, where he got extensive experience in digital publishing and oversaw digital content operations. Marcus started his career as a Group Account Director at McCann Erickson, where he also handled Optimus Communications.
Marcus presently serves as Non-Executive Chairman of Digitalbox Plc, an AIM-listed mobile-first digital media firm.
