The executive vice president and chief financial officer of MSC Industrial Direct Co., Inc., Kristen Actis-Grande, has been nominated by PulteGroup, the third-largest homebuilder in the country, to be elected as a new independent director to the board of directors. If Ms. Actis-Grande is chosen by PulteGroup shareholders at their annual meeting on May 6, 2024, her appointment will take effect right away.

Her in-depth knowledge of the financial operations of big, publicly traded corporations, together with her distinct perspectives on the housebuilding sector and the overall economy, will be extremely helpful to PulteGroup in carrying out its well-defined operational plan.
For MSC, a top North American distributor of a wide range of metalworking and maintenance, repair, and operations goods and services, Actis-Grande directs and controls all finance-related operations. In addition, she oversees investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategy for the business.
Actis-Grande worked for Ingersoll Rand Inc. for 17 years in a variety of finance-related positions before joining MSC. From 2016 to 2018, she was Chief Financial Officer for the company’s Residential HVAC and Supply division, which included the Trane and American Standard brands. From 2018 to 2020, she was Chief Financial Officer for the company’s Compression Technologies and Services Division.
Actis-Grande graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
