Omni Hotels & Resorts Welcomes Trip Riggs as New CFO

Trip Riggs has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Omni Hotels & Resorts. Trip will be accountable to President Kurt Alexander. In addition to managing the organization’s accounting and financial operations, Riggs will be a key player in fostering development and performance among the executive leadership group.

Kurt Alexander discussed Trip’s appointment and said that he has a track record of building high-achieving teams that help the company achieve best-in-class results. He joins us with excitement, and we think his experience will help Omni further solidify our distinctive owner-operator-brand position in the market.

After working as Chief Financial Officer and Co-President of Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, Colorado, Trip Riggs joins Omni Hotels & Resorts. He oversaw the new development pipeline and the enterprise’s overall financial performance in this capacity. Riggs’ experience also includes his previous positions as divisional CFO at Stonebridge Companies in development and portfolio management, and as CFO for real estate and hospitality at Vail Resorts.

Trip earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management with a concentration in real estate development, finance, and accounting from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. To further demonstrate his dedication to helping others, Trip has chaired the board of Colorado Outward Bound School for more than ten years.

The hiring of Riggs coincides with a critical juncture in Omni Hotels & Resorts’ history of delivering outstanding guest experiences throughout their portfolio of more than fifty unique hotels and resorts across North America. Along with other important members of the executive team, Riggs will use his experience to assist develop Omni’s future growth strategy and will play a significant role in seeing it through to completion.
