Jeff Williams has been appointed President and CEO of Aptia, a new health, benefits, and pensions provider.
Jeff will be directly accountable to Bala Viswanathan, the Aptia Founder & Group CEO, and will oversee the company’s benefits administration services book of business from Aptia’s U.S. headquarters in Boston.

Jeff comes to Aptia from Paychex, where he was Vice President, Enterprise and HR Solutions and a Corporate Officer at the company that offers integrated human capital management solutions for payroll, benefits, human resources, retirement, and insurance services. In that capacity, Jeff oversaw a $1.5 billion profit and loss and played a key role in establishing America as the HR services leader for small and medium-sized enterprises, driving record revenues for the company’s mid-market division and its global operations centers.
Before joining Paychex, Jeff established a solid international reputation for overseeing operations, sales, marketing, client relations, and $1 billion or more in profit and loss at Alight Solutions, Aon, ADP, and businesses that were acquired by Rogers and Vodafone. He has built world-class performance across sectors, functions, continents, and company life-cycle phases. He also builds market, revenue, profit, and client relationships.

Williams has a broad educational background and has graduated from the Harvard Business School’s General Management Program, Western University’s Ivey School of Business with an MBA, and Brock University’s Business Administration and Political Science BA.
In addition to his academic achievements, he has demonstrated his leadership and social responsibility by serving on a number of nonprofit boards, such as Habitat for Humanity. In addition to leading Diversity and Inclusion at a prior job, he served as Campaign Chair for Paychex’s record-breaking United Way fundraising campaign.
