Suzanne Stefany, a JELD-WEN director since 2017, informed the board that she would not be seeking reelection. Franzen will take her place.

Franzen presently oversees the Water & Protection division of Dupont, a $6 billion worldwide company with over 30 production facilities, as chief financial officer. Franzen held the position of vice president, chief investor relations and communications officer at Johnson Controls International plc, a global leader in building goods and smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings, from 2018 to 2022, prior to joining DuPont. She held a number of positions at Tyco from 2004 to 2016, progressively gaining more responsibility, including overseeing corporate finance, investor relations, and external reporting, before Tyco International plc merged with Johnson Controls in 2016. She started her career in the industrial and pharmaceutical sectors as an assurance consultant for major, international public businesses at PwC (previously PricewaterhouseCoopers). Franzen is a certified public accountant with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the College of New Jersey.
Following Stefany’s departure and Franzen’s appointment, the company’s board of directors will consist of ten members, eight of whom are independent. In addition, Nord expressed the board’s profound gratitude to Suzanne Stefany for her seven years of active participation, leadership, and partnership on the JELD-WEN board.
