According to a statement released today by Legrand®, the world leader in electrical and digital building infrastructures. On March 1, 2024, Brian DiBella, the division’s current president of LNCA’s Data, Power & Control, will take over.
The speaker would like to thank and congratulate John Selldorff for turning Legrand’s North and Central American business around. Under his leadership, the company grew from a $600 million small manufacturer of switches and sockets to a leader in electrical and digital building infrastructures, including lighting, data centers, cable management, audio visual, and building controls. LNCA now accounts for around 40% of the Group’s worldwide income, having risen to about $4 billion. John was the longest-serving member of the Executive Committee and made a substantial contribution to the growth of the Group, according to Legrand CEO Benoît Coquart.
In addition, he wants to congratulate Brian DiBella on his advancement. After successfully overseeing the two biggest businesses in the US (Electrical Wiring Systems and Data, Power & Control), Brian has recently marked his 20th year with Legrand. Legrand’s dedication to nurturing talent and empowering staff members to realize their full potential is further demonstrated by Brian’s appointment. Brian’s goal is to keep using this strategy to develop leadership teams at all levels in the future. Coquart expressed his best wishes for Brian’s and the LNCA team’s future in the months and years ahead.
