The NAFR has given its approval for Mr. CHIN Hung I David to be appointed by qualifying as an Independent Director of the Company. On February 8, 2024, Mr. CHIN Hung I David’s term as an Independent Director of the Company came into force.

The notice dated October 27, 2023, regarding Mr. CHEN Jizhong’s resignation as an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company, is referred to. On February 8, 2024, Mr. CHEN Jizhong retired from his role as an Independent Non-executive Director, chairman of the Risk Management and Related Party Transaction Control Committee, and member of the Board of the Company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee. According to Mr. CHEN Jizhong, there is no issue with his retirement that has to be brought to the notice of the company’s creditors or shareholders. He also stated that he has no disagreements with the board of the company.
