Today, Exor N.V.-owned Lingotto Investment Management LLP, announced the opening of its US office and the hiring of Pam Chan as Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Mosaic

Anchored by Exor, this new private market strategy will invest across industries, capital structures, and asset classes. By making this change, Lingotto is expanding the organization’s capacity to support gifted investment professionals in pursuing their love of investing in a setting of structure and independence.

Ms. Chan held the positions of Chief Investment Officer and Head of Direct Private Opportunities at BlackRock before joining Lingotto. She co-founded and oversaw the Alternative Solutions business at BlackRock, which expanded to manage over $12 billion in assets across a variety of private market strategies and investing themes. In addition to chairing several investment committees, she was a member of BlackRock’s Global Operating Committee, Alternatives Executive Committee, and co-led the company’s 2021 Global Leadership Summit.

Ms. Chan was employed by the Financial Stability Board, Bridgewater, and Goldman Sachs before to joining BlackRock. She has held positions on the boards of Macro Media, Inc., Forbright, Inc., and Home Partners of America. She received excellent honors from Harvard Business School and Harvard College’s magna cum laude degrees.

Ms. Chan was named to the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on the Future of Responsible Investing and Women in Finance in 2020 after being named a Young Global Leader by the organization. Her inclusion on Private Equity International’s list of Women of Influence in Private Markets dates back to 2022.
