Greg Hegarty has been named Co-Chief Executive Officer (Co-CEO) of PPHE Hotel business, an international hospitality real estate business that develops, owns, and operates hotels and resorts. The appointment takes effect immediately.

After serving in a number of leadership capacities for the Group for eighteen years, Greg was named Chief Operating Officer in 2019 and Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer in 2020. Throughout this period, he has been in charge of PPHE’s corporate vision and growth plan in addition to developing and implementing the Group’s operational strategies, which include Commercial, People & Culture, and Operations. In May 2023, he became a member of the board after being named an Executive Director by the company. He has worked in the larger hotel industry for about thirty years.

Greg held top management positions with reputable brands and owner/operators, including RBH and Clermont Hotel Group, before joining the Group. In addition to earning an MBA, he has demonstrated his dedication to the hospitality sector by being inducted as a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and becoming a Master Innholder.

Alongside the company’s seasoned President & CEO Boris Ivesha, Greg will take on the role of Co-CEO. He will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company and play a major part in formulating and carrying out the Group’s long-term strategy as it continues its current period of rapid expansion. Additionally, he will still be in charge of the Group’s continuous, proactive involvement with shareholders. Boris Ivesha will keep concentrating on seeking chances for the Group’s expansion and development, including idea generation.
