Metals Exploration plc (AIM: MTL), a gold producer in the Philippines, is pleased to announce Mr Tim Livesey’s appointment as a Non-Executive Director.
Tim has over 30 years of professional gold and base metal exploration, project development, and mining expertise throughout Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Tim’s significant industrial experience includes both technical and executive management positions.
He has worked for firms including Anglo-American PLC and Barrick Gold Corporation, and has held executive and board level positions in junior, mid-tier, and senior corporations around the world.
His present position as Director and Chief Executive Officer of Oriole Resources PLC falls under this category.
Tim is also a Fellow of the Geological Society and a Member of the AusIMM, having earned an honours degree in geology from the University of Newcastle.
This appointment takes the position of Jeremy Wrathall, who is stepping down as a Non-Executive Director of Metals Exploration to focus solely on his work as the Founder and CEO of Cornish Lithium.
