Cynthia Gordon has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Bodycote plc, with effect from June 1, 2022. She will join the Board of Directors’ Remuneration, Nomination, and Audit committees. Cynthia Gordon is a non-executive director and chair of a public firm in the United States. She has over 20 years of expertise in the telecoms and digital industries, as well as a background as a marketeer. Cynthia is now the Chair of the Board of Directors of Global Fashion Group (an e-commerce fashion store) and a Non-Executive Director of Eutelsat Communications SA, both of which are listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (global satellite operator). Cynthia Gordon, a University of Brighton Business Studies graduate, started her career with Unilever before going to Lloyds Bank. She worked for Orange – France Telecom for ten years, holding positions such as Vice President of Business Marketing and Vice President of Partnerships and Emerging Markets. She was also the previous CEO of Millicom Africa, a telecom and media firm with over 51 million consumers in Africa and Latin America, and Group Chief Commercial Officer of Ooredoo Group, which operates across MENA and Asia.
