Frank J. Veith, M.D., a renowned expert in vascular surgery, has been appointed to the board of directors of ViTAA Medical Solutions, Inc., a pioneer in the field of precision vascular health aiming to enhance patient outcomes worldwide.
Over the course of several decades, Dr. Veith has gained recognition throughout the world for his groundbreaking work in the fields of endovascular therapies, lung transplantation, and limb salvage in vascular surgery. One of his pioneering achievements was the first endovascular aortic repair in North America, a development that profoundly altered the course and potential applications of contemporary vascular surgery. Frank J. Veith, M.D., is a professor of surgery at the New York University Medical Center in New York, NY, and Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH. Furthermore, Dr. Veith holds the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s William J. von Liebig Chair in Vascular Surgery. After earning his medical degree from Cornell University in 1955, Dr. Veith worked as a captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps and chief of the surgical service at the U.S. Army Hospital in Fort Carlson, Colorado, from 1960 to 1962. He also completed his residency at Harvard Medical School’s Peter Bent Brigham Hospital from 1956 to 1963.
