Ringena began working for Hy-Vee in 2015 as an assistant vice president of financial reporting. Later, she was given the responsibility of controller. She received a promotion to vice president of business development and innovation in 2017. In the years that followed, she held a number of significant positions, including senior vice president and chief revenue officer, senior vice president and chief digital officer, and senior vice president of finance and business strategy. Ringena assumed the role of president of Vivid Clear Rx, the pharmaceutical benefit manager recently launched by Hy-Vee, in 2022.
