In his capacity as Medical Director, Dr. Cassavar will oversee and offer strategic direction to TDC Group’s medical operations. He will work in tandem with the leadership group to guarantee that healthcare practitioners, organizations, and professionals continue to receive the best possible insights.

Prior to this, Dr. Cassavar was ProMedica Physicians’ president and chief medical officer. He brings with him a wealth of leadership expertise in research, sophisticated medical practices, specialty hospitals, and facilities. His commitment to improving healthcare quality is demonstrated by his significant achievements as an interventional cardiologist, founding member of Cardiocare Consultants, and clinical assistant professor of medicine at the Medical College of Ohio.
Dr. Cassavar is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology in addition to being a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine with certifications in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is a great leader because of his rare blend of medical knowledge and commercial savvy, which is enhanced by his MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of commercial. He has been the principal investigator for a number of clinical trials and has taken an active part in committee work, including the Patient Safety Committee at The Doctors Company.
Dr. Cassavar states that he was honored to be appointed Medical Director for TDC Group and that he is looking forward to starting this path of encouraging innovation and accelerating growth inside the company. He will work alongside TDC Group executives to support the complete continuum of care as we advocate for the medical community, driven by a passion for improving healthcare practices.
