Tony S. Reed, M.D., has been appointed by Inspira Health to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Quality and Safety Officer, effective on August 1.
Through patient safety, quality, and excellence, Reed will concentrate on carrying out and enhancing Inspira’s role as a high dependability organisation.
Reed has more than 22 years of experience in the medical field, most recently working as Temple University Health System’s chief medical officer.
For more than six years, Reed worked for the Temple University Health System and held a position as an adjunct professor at the Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine.
Under the direction of Amy Mansue, President & CEO of Inspira Health, he will assist Inspira’s objectives to be a leading high dependability and high safety organisation by directing us in continuing to achieve the best quality results and moving us on our journey to zero harm.
Reed earned a medical degree from the Hahnemann School of Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
At The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, he completed his family medicine residency before attending The Ohio State University to complete his sports medicine residency.
He then started a varied career in medicine as a doctor and instructor.
The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health, Christiana Care Health System, University of Delaware, AtlantiCare, and Temple University Health System are just a few of the hospital systems where he has worked.
