Sharon Villaverde has been appointed as the Vice President of Finance, according to a statement released today by Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. Sharon will oversee the accounting and financial operations of Sterling in her role. She will also contribute to the development of the company’s strategic financial plans.
With thirty years of expertise in accounting and finance roles at well-known public firms across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, defense contracting, telecommunications construction, and construction, Sharon brings a wealth of knowledge to Sterling. She most recently worked for Dycom Industries, Inc. as vice president and chief accounting officer, beginning in 2018. She held accounting and financial management positions at Lockheed Martin Corporation and Alcon Inc. before joining Natus Medical Incorporated as vice president of finance. Sharon started out at Deloitte & Touche as an accountant. She is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma.
