With more than two decades of experience, Hetzel has made a name for himself as a committed representative of registered investment advisers and broker-dealers, handling a wide range of financial services litigation. His areas of expertise include the defense of exchange-traded funds, managed accounts, variable annuities, private placements, REITs, mutual funds, exchange-traded life insurance trusts, welfare benefit plans, and deferred compensation plans. Additionally, he has defended clients in front of state securities commissioners, FINRA, and the SEC in regulatory and enforcement actions.
Hetzel has an impressive academic background. She holds an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt School of Business with a finance concentration, a Summa Cum Laude degree from Northwestern University, and a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
