EQT AB is happy to announce Christina Drews’ appointment as Chief Operating Officer (COO), as the company continues to expand across geographies and business strategies. Christina will supervise the strategic development of EQT’s operating platform as the new COO. Christina has nearly 30 years of global financial industry experience, most recently as COO of Helios Investment Partners. Christina began her career at Goldman Sachs in M&A and Global CAO, as well as regional COO and CFO roles in the Investment Banking division, before joining Helios. EQT has expanded dramatically in recent years, both in terms of investment techniques and geographic reach. We must guarantee that we are future-proofing our own platform as we continue our objective to future-proof organisations and make a good impact. Christina has the skills and vision to guide us through this journey, putting in place the right competencies, processes, and strategies so that we can continue to scale and grow, based on her breadth and depth of operating experience. “I am very passionate about the journey EQT is on, am impressed with the quality platform that I will join and excited to make a contribution alongside a great team” Christina Drews, EQT’s incoming COO, stated. Christina will join EQT in June and will be stationed in London. She will be a member of the Executive Committee and will report directly to Christian Sinding, the company’s CEO.
