Roderick R. Baty will step down from the board of directors on April 30, 2024, Alamo Group Inc. said today. Since joining the Board in August 2011, Mr. Baty has taken on a variety of roles

On May 3, 2018, Mr. Baty was named Independent Board Chair. Effective April 30, 2024, current board member Richard W. Parod will be named the new Independent Board Chair following Mr. Baty’s departure from the board.

Additionally, the Company announced today that, as of February 22, 2024, Paul D. Householder would join the Board as an independent member. Mr. Householder leads Ag Growth International Inc. as its president and CEO. As Executive Vice President, International, Mr. Householder joined Ag Growth International Inc. in 2019. He was elected to the Board of Directors and appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 2022. Ag Growth International Inc. is a producer of handling accessories, aeration equipment, storage bins, belt conveyors, augers, and storage bins for both stationary and mobile grain handling, storage, and conditioning applications. Mr. Householder worked for Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. for 28 years in a variety of worldwide leadership positions with an emphasis on engineering, sales, business development, and continuous improvement. Before joining Ag Growth International Inc., he was employed there.

He has played a crucial role in getting us to where we are now. Rick’s appointment as the next Independent Board Chair excites us. Paul offers the Board decades of invaluable expertise working abroad.
