Steven Berman has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer of CN Energy Group, Inc.

We are confident that Mr. Berman, who has over 28 years of leadership experience in customer service, finance, sales, and cutting-edge technology, will provide the company with a wealth of experience in his new role as CEO. Having founded Berman Electronic Enterprises LLC, a private worldwide company in the semiconductor sector, Mr. Berman has been running BE Enterprises for the previous fifteen years. BE Enterprises provides full-service global distribution of electronic components to OEMs and contract manufacturers across the globe.

Prior to working in the semiconductor sector, Berman worked as an investment banker for some of the top companies in North America, such as Mellon Investments Corporation’s Dreyfus subsidiary and Citigroup.

With an emphasis on the US market, Mr. Berman will guide CN Energy’s ongoing development, production, and worldwide distribution of wood-based activated carbon. Mr. Berman wants to broaden the company’s reach into the semiconductor distribution sector by developing a twin business strategy that includes producing wood-based activated carbon and acting as a global distributor of electronic components. While the move into semiconductor distribution portends acquisitions, no specific targets have been found as of yet. This goal calls for a strong emphasis on technology and the distribution of AI-powered semiconductor chips, as well as on becoming a major producer and supplier of activated carbon for the production of food and beverages, water purification, pharmaceuticals, and environmental protection.

Mr. Berman expressed his excitement and honor at being chosen to head CN Energy when he was appointed. In light of the rapidly expanding uses for activated carbon, the constant need for semiconductors, and the necessity for innovative supply chains for both commodities, He remained committed to maximizing profitability and providing transparency to shareholders. He is excited about our promising future as a management team that prioritizes shareholders.

The Company has pioneered and specialized in producing high-quality recyclable activated carbon and renewable energy from abandoned forest and agricultural residues, turning hazardous wastes into a valuable product and providing significant financial, economic, environmental, and ecological benefits. This is made possible by its patented proprietary bioengineering and physiochemical technologies. Environmental protection organizations, manufacturers of industrial and pharmaceutical items, and producers of food and beverages have all made extensive use of the company’s goods and services.
