In accordance with regulatory approval, Metro Bank today announced James Hopkinson’s appointment as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, beginning September 5, 2022.
James joins from ClearBank where he has been CFO since 2019 and Board member since 2020. He offers substantial expertise in growth organisations, UK legislation, international and UK retail banking, and managing finance functions.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered, he worked there for nearly 20 years in a variety of capacities, including CFO Regions & Clients, CFO Global Retail Banking, and Global Head of Investor Relations.
James is a Chartered Accountant and began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
